Save a PDF with your browser

  1. Finish editing and check the preview

Import or paste Markdown and check that math, tables and diagrams are visible. Wait for remote images to load before printing.

  2. Choose Export → PDF document

Moyu prepares a document with dark text on a white background, then opens the browser print dialog.

  3. Choose Save as PDF

Select a PDF destination, check paper size, orientation, margins and page count, then save to your device.

Useful print settings

Paper and orientation
A4 portrait works for most articles. Try landscape or a different scale for wide tables.
Headers and footers
Turn these off in print settings if you do not want the browser to add the URL, date or other information.
Background graphics
Enable this option, where available, to retain background colors in code blocks and quotes.
Page breaks
Check each page before saving, especially long tables, code blocks and large diagrams.

Why use the print dialog?

PDF export currently uses your browser to generate the file. This keeps processing local and lets you review pagination. Moyu cannot tell whether you ultimately save the PDF or cancel printing.

Common questions

What if my phone has no Save as PDF option?

Printing varies by operating system and browser. Use the available save or share option, or export Markdown and continue on a desktop browser.

Why is an image missing from the PDF?

Check that it appears in the preview and has a working URL. Images that fail to load or require access permissions may not appear correctly in the printed result.
