A practical guide to Markdown and Moyu.

- [x] Gather ideas
- [ ] Finish the articleCode blocks
Wrap code in three backticks. Add a language name to enable syntax highlighting for that language.
```javascript
const message = "Hello, Markdown";
console.log(message);
```
Math and diagrams
Math
Use a pair of $ signs for inline math, or $$ for a display equation. Moyu renders math with KaTeX.
Mass–energy equivalence: $E = mc^2$
$$
\sum_{i=1}^{n} i = \frac{n(n+1)}{2}
$$Mermaid diagrams
Set the code block language to mermaid. The preview shows a message if the syntax is invalid.

Drafts and files
Moyu automatically saves multiple documents and their names in this browser. Ctrl / ⌘ + S saves immediately. Creating a document, importing a file or restoring the example keeps your existing documents. Open Drafts to search, open or delete saved documents, and resume the last one after a refresh. Default names follow the interface language; custom names and imported filenames stay unchanged.
- Import or drag in .md / .markdown files up to 5 MB each.
- Drafts do not sync across devices. Clearing browser data or ending a private browsing session can remove them.
- If local storage fails, the editor shows a message. Export Markdown to back up your work.
- Remote images load over the network. Replace relative image paths with accessible URLs.
Copy and export
- Copy rich text
- Copy styled content into a rich text editor. This requires HTTPS and clipboard permission. The destination editor may remove some styles.
- Copy full HTML document
- Copy the complete HTML source to save as a web page or process further.
- Word and PDF
- Use Word for further editing and PDF for reading. See the export guides below.
- HTML and Markdown
- HTML includes layout, math fonts and diagrams; remote images still use their original URLs. Markdown preserves your original text for backup and migration.
Workspace and reading
On desktop, drag the divider to resize the editor and preview, or use focused preview. On a phone, switch between editing and preview using the tabs. The interface supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English, with light, dark and system themes.
